I have been writing for a newspaper, an online newspaper, and my own blogs since 2012. For six years I have reported far more hypocrisy and blatant falsehoods than truth in Washington. Today’s government cannot exist if the truth is told. If the mainstream media, most importantly the television media, told the truth, I would not be forced to continue my exposes of the facts. Someone has to keep the American people informed.

Here are the basics. The Republican Party is the greatest danger to America in its 241 year history. I hate political parties; they serve no purpose other than brainwashing millions of Americans to win elections. Nearly three decades ago the GOP was a party I respected, and often chose in elections. Today I would never vote for a single Republican candidate; they are ‘Republican in name only;’ they have no principles and no ideas to move our nation forward into the 21^st century.

There are several issues supported by the right wing which violate our Constitution every day. Their alliance with the Christian religious right is in direct opposition to the principle reason our founding fathers penned the first amendment. Republican politicians continue to favor a single religion which is clearly in opposition to the wording and intent of the first amendment.

If the Christian religious right did not have influence over the Republican Party, issues such as abortion, and same-sex marriage would not be included in our choices in our nation’s elections. These are personal issues which are protected by the Constitution.

This week the governor of Oklahoma, Mary Fallin pissed off the NRA by vetoing a measure which would have allowed all adults in her state to carry loaded weapons of mass destruction without training or a state permit. At the same time she signed a law which which would allow foster parent and adoption agencies to deny same sex couples to adopt children.

Fallin is a true conundrum. At one point she does the right thing, and then she violates the Constitutional rights of American citizens.

I need to put this in a blunt and crude form. The Republican Party is f**ked up. It has no agenda; no continuity. It is at war with itself. GOP politicians are destroying their party and democracy in America.

The problem is the fact that they have no leaders. Trump is a certified maniac who has no idea about what he’s doing until Vladimir Putin tells him what to do. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have proven dozens of times that they cannot and will not govern our nation effectively. FOX Noise is a propaganda machine which has a single purpose; support the right wing and divide our nation for perpetuity.

America is the most backwards nation in the developed world. We are behind every other nation in human rights, the equality of women, social programs including healthcare and education, and the acceptance of multiple religions and sexual preference. This must change, and it will not be the old, white men in our House and Senate who create these changes.

Special elections across the United States have offered a single fact; progressive women candidates are winning. Their focus on domestic issues, including universal healthcare, education, child care, and women’s rights are resonating with all American voters. Trump continues his attempts to redirect the focus of what is important to the majority of Americans. Why? Because he doesn’t care about most of our nation’s people. Trump cares about Trump.

For the first time in history, more women have filed for election in local, state, and federal contests. Add to this fact the next generation of voters including those from Parkland, Florida, and we see real change in America. For far too long old, white men have failed our nation. Change is not only necessary, it is exciting.

November 6^th will be here soon. Our nation desperately needs younger candidates and more women who truly care about our nation’s future.
