Republicn Mega-Donors Oppose new Tax Law; It Doesn’t Give them Enough Money

Capitalism

The Republican “tax reform” has been exposed. It is a gift to 560 billionaires, including your illegitimate president, and 10.7 million millionaires. The wealthy and large corporations have received permanent tax cuts, while tax relief for the middle class will end in 2020. The deficit will be increased by at least 1.8 trillion dollars. Although this is all fact, some of the GOP’s wealthiest donors are unhappy.

Most of these donors, who are boycotting the midterm election, are hedge fund operators. While the corporate tax rate was cut from a maximum of 35 percent to 21 percent, the maximum rate for hedge fund operators whose tax rate is applied at the highest individual rate of 39.6 percent, received a much smaller deduction at 37 percent.

Our nation is spiraling downward at a frightening pace. The former is the reason. Capitalistic greed controls the future of America. Republicans base every decision on profit or loss, and not on the welfare of the American people. “Profit before people” is their mantra.

Everything that happens, or fails to happen in America is controlled by money. Republican opposition to universal healthcare is based on money. Because the NRA is a prime donor to Republican campaigns, no gun legislation will be introduced. Education is not a priority for Republicans because it would force new taxes on the wealthy and corporations. Trump’s planned destruction of the EPA has a single purpose; to allow big business to dump their waste in our nation’s water supply; pollute the air; and destroy the soil, making it unfit for growing crops. This will save them millions of dollars each year. Republicans validation for increasing the Pentagon’s budget is based on the fact that many wealthy Republican supporters are heavily invested in the military industrial complex.

Everything our Republican controlled government proposes is based on profit or loss. Time for change. The American people must once again be the focus of our government. Social programs and programs paid for by workers, such as Social Security, must be the priority. Our military receives billions of dollars each year which is not necessary. In addition, statistics prove that they waste fifty cents of every dollar they receive.

In November, vote for Independents and Democrats; take your country back.
