One of the most memorable lines from a movie describes the entire Republican Party, and most importantly Donald Trump. The movie was “A Few Good Men,” and an exchange between Tom Cruz and Jack Nicholson produced the words “You can’t handle the truth.”
The truth is the right wing’s greatest enemy. Any time the facts come into the light of day, and they always do, a member of Trump’s team or a GOP politician in congress, is forced to resign or is fired. The turnover within Trump’s administration is at a record high 44 percent.
For Trump and his circle of sinners, corruption is the norm. Lies and attempts to misdirect the truth are standard operating procedure, and a daily necessity. Many of the Trump administration’s lies have been exposed, and the Constitution preserved and protected. Although Trump took an oath on January 20, 2017 to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” he lied. If it were not for the fourth estate, Trump would have taken actions to repeal the first amendment, and all democracy would have been replaced with fascism.
Yesterday Trump declared that the White House simply wanted the truth to go away. Therefore they blame the press for it’s expose of the facts.
“The so-called leaks coming out of the White House are a massive over exaggeration put out by the Fake News Media in order to make us look as bad as possible. With that being said, leakers are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!”
Half of this statement once again blames the legitimate press, and supports the right wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise. The second half of this moronic tweet admits that he will conduct a White House witch hunt to discover who is allowing the truth to come from the West Wing. This is nothing new; Trump’s administration is filled with contradictions. Lies produce confusion.
Although the truth about the 2016 election has been confirmed, the mainstream media and our government refuses to accept the facts. Trump, his campaign staff, and his family were in constant contact with Russian agents. This is an easy situation of ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire.’
I agree with the ‘suck-ups’ in Trump’s party; the Mueller investigation should end; Trump is ‘guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.’
