In my nearly 72 years on this planet, as a patriotic American, I never believed it possible that the President of the United States would ever have admitted to paying money to a porn star to protect his personal ambitions. In my younger years, a man who divorced his wife could not be elected.

Many of those who pretend to be television journalists say ‘times have changed.’ I say bullshit. Certain things cannot change. Morals, and the principles of right and wrong are universal. Any man or woman who seeks the presidency must be held to the highest possible standards. If there is any disgrace more damning than the fact that Trump is receiving the lowest possible standard is unforgivable.

Trump has no moral compass, and serves a single god; money.

When the people of our nation elect a leader, we have many valid expectaitons. Most importantly we assume that he or she will place the needs and interests of the majority as his or her priority. The President of the Unites States is required to serve all of the American people. If they do not; if they fail to keep the oath of office when they swore to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” they must be removed from the White House, forcibly if necessary. Trump’s 15 months and 26 days in office are filled with tens of thousands of lies. In addition, he has been exposed for his complete lack of morality. Today, his required financial disclosure admitted the fact that one month prior to the 2016 election, he paid hush money to a porn star to save his candidacy. Trump supporters are not concerned. As long as Trump supports white supremacy and other forms of bigotry, he remains their leader.

This single fact forces me to be ashamed of my country. It is no longer the nation of our founding fathers. The fact that Republican politicians refuse to denounce this Nazi is unforgivalbe. Revolution is sometimes necessary; and it can be glourious.
