Experts, including one of the chief negotiators between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev, agreed that the nuclear agreement with Iran greatly favored the west. Trump never read it but because President Obama was involved, he claimed that it was “terrible.” Now he is making a trade agreement which those who know the facts claim is a “lose, lose” situation.
Initially Trump wanted to place tariffs on imports of Chinese steel and aluminum. He’s backing off, and appears to be favoring China over our European allies.
Treasury Secretary, and another member of Trump’s circle of sinners who wastes tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars, claims that the looming trade war is “on hold” for now.
Let’s get right to the truth. Trump tweeted that he and President Xi are working on a plan to save jobs at telecom giant ZTE. ZTE has been sanctioned by congress for spying on our nation through devices installed in their phones. This tweet came just three days after China poured $500,000,000 into Indonesia. Trump has investments in Indonesia, and this will allow them to continue his efforts to increase his personal income.
Let’s not forget that his and his daughter’s clothing lines are manufactured in China, not in “America First.” There is no doubt that Trump is using his illegitimate presidency to increase his foreign business interests. We know he colluded with Vladimir Putin during the 2016 campaign, but violating the emoluments clause is the current and most valid reason to impeach the most immoral man in the world.
