The title of this short article is a comment made on Facebook by my brother-in-law, who lives in Georgia and is an uninformed Trump supporter. I agree with part of what he is saying. If there were no taxes, we could disband our military. The military brass wastes more money than any other department in our government.

We would not be forced to pay our president, members of congress, or the Supreme Court who do nothing for the money they are paid. They would be forced to work on a voluntary basis or get out of Washington.

These would be good things. Without a military which supports our government and not the people, we could begin a second revolution and restore the principles and ideals of our founding fathers.
