Republicans are hypocrites and traitors; Democrats are cowards. These are the reasons why I will not be voting for any politicians who are seeking reelection in November.

I despise these Republicans in name only who refuse to support the people of my nation. Trump has exposed himself as a white supremacist and a traitor to the American people.

At the same time, no one on the left is standing before the television cameras and telling the truth about Trump and his circle of sinners. The old, white, men and women who lead the left wing of politics are afraid to be truthful.

Trump is selling America to the highest bidder. His god is money, and he does not give a damn about the future of our nation and its people. He is attempting to end democracy and replace it with fascism.

If President Obama was in the White House today, and Scott Pruitt, Rudy Giuliani, Betsy DeVos, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Steve Mnuchin, Wilbur Ross, Ben Carson, and many other less well-known members of Trump’s staff, had committed similar sins of corruption and ethics violations by this administration and Trump himself, all hell would have been released in the press. Republicans would be screaming for impeachment and firings of dozens of Trump’s closest advisers and his cabinet.

Republicans are willing to accept misconduct, and even criminal actions by their own; this is a fact which has existed for decades. They are the ultimate hypocrites.

That said, I believe that Democrats must move back to the left of center. That requires the removal of the ‘old guard,’ replacing them with younger men and more women who have the courage and foresight to lead our nation into the 21^st century. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have proven that they are far too passive and have moved to the right ignoring the precepts of the ‘people’s party.’ If Democrats do not return to the party of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the fate of the majority; the working class; is dim.

Across the nation women have been victorious in special elections and primaries. This one fact offers hope for our nation’s future. Old, white men have ignored the people and harmed our nation for far too long.
