Cost of Mueller’s Investigation Pales in Comparison to cost of Trump’s Golf Trips

Mueller (2)

Everyone knows that the right wing is composed of hypocrites. They protect their own. If President Obama had committed the many crimes and Constitutional violations as Trump has in only 16 months and 12 days, Republican politicians would be demanding that he be impeached and placed in a federal prison. If Trump’s destructive “tax reform” had been proposed by Mr. Obama, fake-conservatives would have screamed about the enormous increase of at least $1.8 trillion to the national debt.

Some GOP politicians are complaining about the cost of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Vladimir Putin’s successful interference in our election and the fact that Trump, his staff, and his family colluded with Russian agents to win the Electoral College.

The fact is that the first year of this investigation did cost taxpayers $16.7 million. That’s a lot of money. But, as Richard Nixon said, “the people have a right to know if their president is a crook.”

Trump has spent nearly one-third of his presidency playing golf. Taxpayers have received a bill of $67 million to allow their illegitimate president to continue his life of luxury and privilege. Add this enormous waste of your money to the many other unnecessary trips to Mar-a-Lago, “campaign rallies,” etc., etc., etc., and we learn that Trump’s family is spending $16, 333,333.33 each month to enjoy their billionaire’s lives. Operating Air Force One is ridiculously expensive at $200,000 per hour.

Trump has set the example for his advisers and his cabinet, and they are cheerfully following his lead. Ryan Zinke, Steve Mnuchin, Scott Pruitt, Ben Carson, and others have been using taxpayer dollars for their own enjoyment.

While Trump and his circle of sinners are spending your money for ‘fun and games,’ nothing positive has been accomplished by the Trump administration. His illegitimate presidency will go down as the most failed and destructive administration in American history.

Let’s remove his power; vote all Republicans out of office in November.
