The Hypocritical and Hate Filled Side of Christianity

Christian Hypocrisy

Let’s begin with an important fact about most men and women who call themselves ‘Christians.’ There are few Christians in the Republican Party, and very few who attend church on a regular basis. No one can claim to be a ‘Christian’ and refuses to follow the instructions of Jesus Christ in the New Testament; this includes religious leaders who seek power over other men.

Among the many, many quotes from Christ’s time on earth, two stand out and demand that any of His followers believe and obey His instructions. Jesus Christ claimed that only His Father had a right to judge mankind, and said: “Judge not lest ye be judged.” The second is even more important. He instructed all those who believed in Him to “love one another as I have loved you.” Unconditional love; love which is not based on judgment was His most important commandment.

Criticizing, judging, and hating those who do not agree with your personal views is against the precepts of Jesus Christ. Although allowing any religious group to interfere with our nation’s government is unconstitutional, any individual who chooses to be a member of organized religion must honor that religion and refuse to ‘pick and choose’ which parts to obey.

Fake-Christians are quick to hate and deny the individual rights of the LGBTQ community, women who choose to terminate a pregnancy, and anyone who is a member of a faith other than one primarily based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Jaelene Hinkle is a 25-year-old soccer player who is a fake-Christian. Last spring Hinkle was called up to the United States Women’s National Soccer Team. She would have joined the team in Norway and Sweden in June. When Hinkle discovered that the team would be honoring the LGBTQ community during ‘Pride Month,’ and wearing rainbow covered uniforms, Hinkle withdrew from the team, again. Through the use of social media, she revealed the fact that she despised homosexuals based on her faux-Christian beliefs.

One final thought. The LGBTQ community is the least violent group in America. Although they all too frequently live in a world where ignorant people spread hate and lies about them, they seldom resort to violence as a form of self-defense.

History proves that more innocent men, women, and children were killed by wars related to religious wars waged by Christians and Muslims than for any other reason. This is final proof that few Christians are worthy of the label. Jesus Christ and the Prophet Muhammad preached peace and non-violence. Far too few of their followers heard them. They demanded love and compassion; denouncing hatred and violence, and have been rebuffed. These are not my own opinions; these are undeniable facts. Choosing to be ignorant is an unforgivable decision.
