After the meeting between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un it was revealed that the North Korean leader achieved his goals, while Trump surrendered our nation to his autocratic empire. Trump did not receive a single concession, while Kim Jong-un was promised that joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea will end. By meeting with the tyrant, Trump elevated his status in the world. He is now able to claim that he is one of the world’s leaders.

What did America receive from North Korea? As far as we know the answer is ‘nothing.’ The entire event appears to have been a publicity stunt by Trump. He is attempting to save some seats for Republicans in the midterm election.

Trump praised Kim Jong-un incessantly, at the same time attacking our closest allies from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, England, and Japan. It is obvious that Trump prefers men like himself who believe in autocracy, not democracy.

I consider myself to have at least average intelligence. Therefore I continue to have no understanding why anyone who loves this country can support Donald Trump. He is the first non-American and illegitimate president in history. I miss President Obama more every day.
