Republicans have nothing to stand for this year in the upcoming midterm elections. Therefore they are placing their hopes on what I believe will be a serious error in judgment. They are attempting to attack Hillary Clinton, (yes again, and again, and again), and President Obama, repeatedly. The truth is that Mr. Obama has never been involved in a scandal other than Trump’s scurrilous attacks claiming that he was not an American citizen. Hillary’s poor judgment in using a private e-mail server is the only blight on a praiseworthy career serving the American people.

Republicans have three leaders who are hypocrites who have become immoral, unprincipled, and consummate liars. Trump, Ryan, and McConnell have failed the American people for decades.

Republicans in name only have a single hope to retain control of all three branches of government; they must misdirect the American voter. Their base is blind, and they will remain loyal. However, the majority of voters, like myself, label themselves as independents. These are the voters who will decide the outcome of the November election. I can only speak for myself, but I remain informed, and Republican lies have no effect on me with the exception of rejecting an entire party which supports the worst illegitimate president in history.

Trey Gowdy is not running for reelection to the House. It’s a good thing for his future. He has made a fool of himself throughout his career; most notably by leading four investigations into the tragedy in Behghazi. He was desperate to discredit Hillary Clinton at a cost of hundreds of hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions, to the American people with zero results. Now he is attempting to protect his criminal-in-chief and divert attention from the fact that Trump is a traitor by renewing attacks on Hillary Clinton. Can you say ‘loser?’

Gowdy, along with Paul “the liar” Ryan, Devin “lap dog” Nunes, and Bob “the failure” Goodlatte, met with FBI and DOJ officials to demand sensitive documents related to their investigation of Hillary Trump and former Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe. They remain desperate to convince uninformed Americans that there was a conspiracy to defeat Trump in 2016. The sad truth is that there exists a preponderance of evidence that Trump committed treason by conspiring with Vladimir Putin to win the Electoral College. Hillary has been exonerated multiple times.

Here’s the truth; Republicans have nothing left. Their party has failed the American people for nearly three decades and they are about to pay the price for their sins.

The primary effort by the Russians to change the results of the 2016 election were focused on discrediting Hillary by using social media. A lower than expected turnout in three states, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin were successful.

Republicans are fully aware that when the voter turnout is high, Democrats and Independents win elections. Their only hope in November is to discourage voters from going to the polls.

Women and millennials are moving into the forefront in attempts to ‘get out the vote.’ The results of the November 6^th election will be known before the votes are tallied simply by learning about voter turnout.
