In May Trump created an immigration policy he calls “Zero Tolerance.” This involves separating children from their parents; possibly a permanent situation. When national outrage became overwhelming, Trump went on the attack. He falsely claimed that the situation was the result of a ‘law’ created by Democrats, and that he could not solve the problem with an ‘Executive Order.’
Of course both were lies. Their is no law; this is Trump policy at its worst. Yesterday he accomplished the impossible; he found a way to sign an Executive Order, which he claimed would halt the separation of families. This was mostly another lie. There are about 2,500 children in detention centers and the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services have no idea where they belong.
Trump is a professional liar, and has been throughout his pitiful and failed life. His “successes” are not reality, they are ‘smoke and mirrors.’ Criminal actions and actions which can only be labeled as treason have dominated his personal and public life.
Trump’s racist beliefs are not new. Multiple lawsuits were filed by contractors who worked for Trump throughout his controversial public life as a ‘businessman, and their employees were often Hispanic.’
Now that he is a public servant, he cannot lie his way out of the truth. He is the author of this policy of separating families who are seeking asylum from despotic regimes.
Lies are eventually exposed and the truth is destructive to those who use people for their own ambitions.
