Trump made a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, yesterday. He was campaigning for Republican incumbent, Dean Heller. He had nothing positive to say about Heller, because there is nothing to say. He has accomplished nothing with the exception of kissing Trump’s huge derriere for the last 17 months and four days. So, what did Trump do? He resorted to his immature and pitiful practice of name calling; calling Heller’s worthy opponent ‘Wacky Jacky.’ This is your illegitimate Russian president at his lowest.

Heller’s only hope for reelection to the Senate is that the people of Nevada are ignorant and will forget how he fought to repeal Obamacare, bows to the NRA gun lobby, and supports Trump’s efforts to deport all Hispanics from America.

He has a huge problem. My state is poor. Obamacare has saved lives in Nevada and has become popular. A white terrorist slaughtered 58 innocent men and women in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, and both Trump and Heller ignored this tragedy in support of the gun lobby. Tens of thousands of Hispanics live and work in Nevada. Our casinos could not exist without them.

Without any positives to defend Heller’s reelection bid, Trump resorted to name calling. His opponent is Jacky Rosen. She waited tables while getting her education. Ms. Rosen created a successful software company. Most importantly, she is in touch with Nevada’s people. She is one of us. Heller is a professional politician who has done nothing for the people of Nevada after his appointment to the Senate when disgraced Republican Senator John Ensign was forced to resign. Elected in 2012, he accomplished nothing. In 2016 he and his party learned that Nevada had turned blue. Our Electoral votes went to Hillary. We elected a Democrat to the Senate who became the first female Hispanic member of the Senate. Two issues opposed by Republicans were passed by voters. Nevada now has recreational marijuana, and background checks for all gun sales became mandatory. Sadly, the latter has never been enforced because Attorney General Adam Laxalt is a tool of the NRA gun lobby. Laxalt is now running for governor.

Hopefully Nevadans will use their intellect and support Ms. Rosen. She will serve our state’s people and oppose Trump’s vile and destructive agenda.
