In my nearly 72 years I have had less than a handful of men and women who I considered heroes. I don’t believe that celebrities from the entertainment or sports industries should be ‘heroes.’ This form of devotion should not be given as a reward for personal achievement, it should be given to men and women who have placed the people of our nation ahead of themselves, often when no one else has the courage.

First of all, Maxine Waters, a Democratic Representative from California, not only offered her support for another courageous American, Stephanie Wilkinson, she encouraged other patriots to stand up to the criminals and traitors who bow to America’s first fuhrer.

When Trump’s paid liar, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was asked to leave the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky, because of the owner’s personal morals and principles, I was elated. Traitors to the American way of life must not be allowed to enjoy the privileges of real Americans.

Republicans believe that the LGBTQ community is a blight on our nation and refuse to serve them in their places of business. Is there a difference? Hell no. They claim this action is based on ‘religious beliefs,’ although by their very actions they prove that they do not believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I fully agree with one of the few heroes I have had in my nearly 72 years as an American. Ms. Waters, I support you and I believe that you are the only true leader in the Democratic Party. Pelosi, Schumer, and others are merely posturing.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a name you will soon learn, if you don’t already offer her ‘hero-worship’ as I do today. This 28-year-old self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist stood up to failed Democratic leaders and proved once and for all that progressives are taking back their party. She, along with other men and women will move the party back to the left and return it to a party which fights for the average American. These men and women will no longer offer ‘lip service’ as a solution to the problems of the majority.

On Tuesday she defeated the fourth most powerful Democrat in the House. Joe Crowley was expected to become the next Speaker of the House. Today he is aware that in January he will be just another citizen. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez won the Democratic nomination for the House in New York’s 14^th district.

Mr. Crowley has been a member of the House for nearly 20 years. He is a member of the Democratic establishment which has failed to stand up to Republicans for nearly 30 years and has refused to denounce Trump for 17 months and seven days. They have refused to call him what he is; a white supremacist, a sexual predator, immoral, homophobic, and a constant critic of the religion of Islam based on nothing but his personal prejudices.

When Trump lies and claims that foreign terrorism is a huge threat to our nation’s people, he is ignoring the truth. White terrorism is the greatest danger in America today.

If you are loyal to Republican grifters, you refuse to accept the truth. I once pitied you, but now I condemn you. You gave us the worst illegitimate president in American history. If you voted for him, and even worse, if you still support him, you are the problem and not part of the solution to save our country.
