320 Million Americans Must Listen to Politicians; They Admit that Elections Are more Important Than Doing the Right Thing

Pelosi and Schumer

I was flipping channels today and heard a group of sad and pitiful men who called themselves ‘Republicans’ speak about serious issues affecting all Americans. All their statements involved claims that ‘voting for this would be politically harmful,’ or ‘voting against this would be political suicide.’ They were all Republicans. Do the American people care about their political ambitions? Choosing their party and their personal ambitions instead of doing the right thing makes them traitors to the American people.

Political parties are destructive. Any American voter who chooses a party over the best candidate is not an American. He or she is a fascist and denies the very principles of democracy and free and fair elections.

We must listen to our politicians closely. We cannot allow them to ignore the facts and place their personal ambitions ahead of the needs and desires of the majority. I don’t give a damn about any politician who whines about the fact that if he or she does the right thing they might lose their reelection bid, or be chastised because they oppose party leadership.

We, the people, elect 535 men and women to represent us; we are the United States of America. If they do not support us, they must be sent home to work at a minimum wage job; they do not deserve to continue their lives of luxury and privilege while ignoring the majority.

If America is to survive, we need to remove those in Washington who fail to serve all our nation’s people and refuse to take action beneficial to all Americans.

What needs to be done to save the nation of our founding fathers? The answer is simple and way overdue. The men and women we elect must be representative of the American people. The average age in America is 37.8 years of age. Women compose 50.9 percent of the population. Today’s congress averages nearly 60 years of age, and a mere 19 percent of all members of the House and the Senate are women. This situation is not representative of most Americans.

Finally; during the last 20+ years both parties have moved to the right. Republican right wing extremists are the reason our government is dysfunctional. Democrats made a serious mistake by moving further to the right and leaving behind their progressive agenda, and the reason was ‘not to lose elections.’ Time for change. Progressive, liberal candidates must be elected and restore our failing government. Washington must be forced to serve all Americans and cease ruling over us.

Please tell others about my blog; everyone deserves to know the truth; thank you.
