The Truth about Religion in America

Christian Hypocrisy

First let’s look at a survey conducted in 2017. About 75 percent of Americans claim to be Christian. 37 percent claim to be ‘highly religious’ while 33 percent are not religious at all. Of the 37 percent of those who are devout, about 19 percent strongly support Trump.

Two important statistics which are politically incorrect and therefore not reported by the mainstream media may surprise you. The truth is often hidden for political advantage.

I am one of more than 65 million Americans who reject organized religion; that number is growing. Christianity is in decline as younger men and women refuse to belong to any single faith. Those who chose a religion are rejecting Christianity and choosing the religion of Islam. Atheism is also on the rise.

Why are these statistics important? They reflect the enormous influence of younger Americans on the future of America. They denounce the Christian religious right and support the first amendment forbidding the establishment of one religion in America.

They are also indicative of a diminishing ‘base’ within the Republican Party. Their primarily old, white, Christian supporters are dying, and they are not being replaced by younger men and women in large numbers.

The largest number of voters in America in 2018 will be women. The largest voting bloc belongs to millennials.

Millennials support diversity. Minorities, the LGBTQ community, members of non-Christian religions, and women are viewed as equals. They are rejecting their father’s acceptance of discrimination based on color of skin, sex, or sexual orientation.

If Millennials go to the polls in large numbers, Republicans can pack-up and move back to their home states. Our nation will be saved.

Please tell others about this blog which offers the truth without any outside influence. Thank you.
