Every economist in our nation has labeled Trump’s tariffs as ‘moronic,’ ‘fool-hardy,’ and a rash decision. Now the most conservative organization in America; a part of Trump’s base; is denouncing his decision.

“The administration is threatening to undermine the economic progress it worked so hard to achieve,” Chamber President Tom Donohue said. “We should seek free and fair trade, but this is just not the way to do it.”

Three large American corporations have already announced that tariffs on their products would force them to alter their plans for financial stability. Harley Davidson motorcycles, Snap-on tools, and General Motors have all announced remedies for the negative effects of Trump’s tariffs.

Harley is closing at least one plant and moving to Europe.

Snap-on already has facilities in Europe and will increase its production away from America’s most Conservative Organization is Denouncing Trump’s Tariffs our shores.

General motors will reduce production and lay-off an unspecified number of employees.

Does anyone remember Trump chanting “jobs, jobs, jobs?”
