Corruption always begins at the top. Donald Trump wastes a minimum of 16 million dollars of taxpayer money every month. He is using the national treasury as his personal bank to allow him and his klan to continue their lives of luxury. He has been in office for 17 months and 11 days. He owes the American people more than 272 million dollars.
Leaders set examples for their subordinates. Therefore, why shouldn’t EPA administrator Scott Pruitt believe that he could follow in Trump’s footsteps? His many ethics violations would have resulted in immediate termination by any other president, but when you are the most corrupt man in our government you support others who follow your example.
Trump commits more crimes every day, and Pruitt is attempting to keep pace with his fuhrer. Most recently Pruitt has slowed and possibly eliminated a review of Monsanto’s best-selling herbicide, ‘Round-up.’ Although multiple public safety organizations are claiming that Round-up is deadly and poses a danger to the American people by poisoning the food we consume, Pruitt is protecting the huge chemical company.
We already know that Pruitt has acted as a lobbyist for a manufacturer of natural gas. The petroleum industry has paid for his lavish lifestyle for decades, beginning during his tenure as Oklahoma’s attorney general. Now that he has a high-ranking position in Trump’s corrupt administration, he is expanding his efforts to profit from his appointment to the EPA.
How much longer are the American people and the hypocritical Republican Party willing to allow these egregious violations?
The revolution begins on or before November 6th.
