Matt Bevin is the Republican Governor of Kentucky. He is a perfect example of what happens when voters select a party on the ballot and not a candidate who will care for them and their families.

Bevin serves big business and at the same time is taking healthcare away from his people. Kentucky is a poor state, and government supported healthcare is a must. But Bevin does not care. He revealed the fact that he is much like his master, Donald Trump. When he took away Medicaid expansion from 15 of his state’s people; they sued. In a typical act of vindication similar to Donald Trump, he claimed that if they won their lawsuit, he would take away care from thousands of Kentucky’s people.

They won their lawsuit and Bevin kept his promise, He immediately removed dental and vision care from 500,000 of his people.

My fellow Americans; this is not your Republican Party. For nearly three decades the once Grand Old Party has been changing. Today it has no resemblance to the party of Lincoln. It serves big business, and other special interests including the unconstitutional Christian religious right.

One last request; if you do believe in Christianity, I praise you if you follow the actual teachings of Jesus Christ. But please worship for yourself and refuse to allow your beliefs to interfere in the lives of others. No religion has a place in our nation’s government. As my grandfather taught me; religion is personal.
