Reports from the agencies who study unemployment and job creation report that there are 6.7 million job openings which cannot be filled with qualified candidates. Trump’s immigration policy forbids many talented men and women from other nations coming to America.
For decades our government has failed to place education at the top of its agenda, and the sad results are harming American companies today. In 2015 the United States was ranked 14th in education. I have good reason to believe that we have slipped even farther in the ratings today.
Governments are fully aware that informed; educated citizens are a danger to their control over the common man. Trump ascended to power with the aid of Putin, about that there is no longer any doubt, but if you listen to his supporters you quickly realize that their education levels are drastically inferior.
Although college and grad school offer certain advantages, any man or woman can make choices. We can self-educate or choose to be ignorant. Trump supporters choose to be ignorant. Real Americans seek information; the truth.
Our country will not survive in the 21st century if we continue to fall behind every other nation in the developed world and education is the key.
We deserve better, and we must elect anyone but Republicans who do not believe in education. When Americans are better informed lies are more difficult to tell.
