For over 25 years I have spoken against professional politicians. The word is defined as “someone who works in politics, especially as a job.” Here’s my problem. Our politicians in Washington don’t work. They spend two-thirds of their time campaigning and fund raising. Although they are required to spend 100 days in the Capitol, not much “work” is accomplished. One entire party’s “work” is composed of passing legislation to serve their wealthy donors.

Most importantly, every right-wing politician ignores the polls. Although the majority of Americans are in favor issues such as reforming our gun laws, same-sex marriage, sensible immigration reform, and recently a woman’s right to choose the physical well-being of her own body, Republicans vote against these issues and of course equality for women. They join Trump in believing that a woman’s only purpose is to serve men.

With Trump as their leader Republicans have excluded Democrats from participating in the governing of our country and eliminated our system of a Democratic Republic. Deliberation and compromise no longer exist.

Because Trump is Islamophobic, and racist, he continuously lies to the American people. Although his claims are nothing but another campaign lie, his ignorant supporters choose to believe that immigrants bring “crime and violence” to America.

The truth is that white terrorism is the greatest danger to our nation’s people by an overwhelming percentage. But that would mean that Trump’s support and belief in white supremacy would be a lie; we can’t have that!

Because Trump constantly encourages hatred and violence to his stooges at his hate rallies, simple minded men and women are attacking anyone who is not white both verbally and physically. Trump is responsible for not only dividing our nation, but also destroying American principles.

Take the case of a very ugly woman in every way possible who accosted riders on a public bus in upstate New York. Anne Marie Messiano is a 57-year-old racist. Before Messiano boarded the bus, she had been arrested previously for similar actions of racism and bigotry.

She began hitting and berating passengers on the bus and screaming racist remarks. Vladimir Philadore recorded the events on his cell phone’s camera. He said; “this is the world that we live in.”

Messiano began by telling everyone onboard to “shut-up.” She said that if anyone was considering calling the police she hopes “(they) all have (their) motherfucking papers.” Next, she began screaming “go back to your fucking country.”

Before she was physically removed from the bus, she screamed one final verbal attack. Messiano shouted “Fuck you, and your nigger fucking people. Okay? Get the fuck out of my country.”

She is undoubtedly a loyal Trump supporter.

Sadly Mr. Philadore is correct; this is our country with Trump spreading his vile rhetoric and lies every day. He and Putin had two primary goals when they plotted to win the 2016 election. One, isolate our country from our allies. That is moving along nicely. Second, begin a race war in America and permanently divide our nation’s people.

Trump’s “army” has one weapon, hatred. We true Americans can choose to pity millions of ignorant Americans and cherish our beliefs in compassion and understanding or become like Trump; an angry and bitter old sexual predator who has nothing to offer our nation or any person on earth.

I choose freedom, love, and peace. I love my country “BT;” Before Trump.
