There is only one right answer to the title of this article. Although it is true that our nation is divided more than at any other time in our history since the Civil War, if you love your country; the country of our founding fathers; you must reject any man who fits this description. Only 50 years ago a divorced man could not be elected to the presidency. In 1960 John Kennedy’s biggest obstacle was that he was a Catholic. Until the 2016 election a female presidential candidate was an impossibility. Before 2016 no candidate who was openly racist and a confirmed sexual predator could have won the nomination for the presidency from either major political party.

What I’m really asking is “are men and women who love our country willing to accept Trump as America’s legitimate president?”

Without question, the answer is “hell no.” We demand an individual who has the highest level of morality, an intellectual ability which is superior to most Americans, and a willingness and desire to serve all Americans regardless of the color of their skin, their sex, their religious belief, or their sexual orientation.

Liberals are true Americans. Every “conservative” in our government is a liar. They are not interested in “fiscal responsibility.” Right wing extremists are allowing Trump to waste at least 16 million taxpayer dollars each month to play golf and hold hate rallies. They also voted in favor of “tax reform” which will add at least $1.8 trillion to the national deficit. Liberals or progressives, which some Democrats prefer to call themselves today, have always balanced concerns for Americans most in need with excessive spending. Most importantly they always place the people as their top priority.

I blame the tragic situation in which we find ourselves today on millions of America voters who chose to accept lies and a message filled with hatred over a qualified candidate who would have represented all our nation.

With younger voters and women leading the way we can take America back from the fascists who would remove all freedom; all hope for our future. Vote in November and remove all Republicans; the enemy; from office destroying Trump’s power to cause more harm to our nation.
