Trump’s trade war, soon to be known as “Trump’s Folly,” will soon affect many things average Americans purchase as ‘necessities.’

He is about to sign an order placing $200 billion additional Chinese imports on his list of tariffs with a 10 percent surcharge. They will include common consumer goods, such as clothes, handbags, suitcases, makeup, dog collars, and human hair. (I doubt this will include Trump and Ivanka’s clothes which are manufactured in China; keep an eye on this fact; Trumps are all about the money and nothing else).

So, let’s see how “great” these tariffs are for the average American. So far, farmers, especially soy been producers, will experience tariffs on their exports, which could nullify their profits. Consumers will see higher prices in retail stores. Companies which must import types of steel and aluminum which are not produced in America will be paying 25 percent more for what they need. What they produce will add additional costs to consumers.

Hey, Trump supporters; are you “tired of winning yet?”

“We have been very clear and detailed regarding the specific changes China should undertake,” Robert Lighthizer, the US trade representative, said in a statement. “Rather than address our legitimate concerns, China has begun to retaliate against U.S. products.”

And, what did you expect. Lighthizer is obviously an idiot and knows nothing about international relations and finances. Bullying doesn’t work when dealing with another super power.

Trump knows one thing; how to be a bully. It’s not working. He believes that every other nation will bow to his demands because he is the illegitimate president of the United States. Trump has weakened our country substantially. We are not the world’s leader in anything any longer, and we are far from being a ‘great’ country. Trump has brought shame on the people of our nation.

We are good at giving money to the Pentagon to waste. Part of that waste is lacking the ability to win wars. Our government and our military have lost every war since WWII, although they spend five-times more than all other nations combined. Without our military might, we are just another of the many. Soon our companies will be fighting for their own trade deals; deals Trump has quashed.

You elected him, and now you’re paying for it. I love my country but I can’t feel sorry for Trump supporters who will lose everything because of his mental incompetence combined with their choice to be ignorant.
