Right Wing’s “Concerns” about “Civility” and Rejection of Compassion is Pure Hypocrisy

Waters (2)

First let me admit that Maxine Waters is one of my heroes. I have been advocating for more women and younger progressives in general to run for office for years. Our government must be representative of our population and not be controlled by old, white men. The average age of all Americans is 37.8 years of age. Women compose 50.9 percent of our nation’s people, but only 19 percent of congress. Ms. Waters is the exception to my rule.

The Representative from California will be 80 in August. She has been one of few on the left side of the aisle to stand up to the fascists on the right side of the aisle. When she suggested that real Americans verbally challenge Trump’s circle of sinners at public venues, even Schumer and Pelosi criticized her; they were wrong to do so.

Of course, the right-wing propaganda machine came “unglued.” Loudmouth Jeannine Pirro will not shut up about “civility.” Of course, “civility” is not part of FOX Noise broadcasting tactics. They survive with the use of crude and vicious attacks on anyone who supports Democrats.

Regardless, right wing pundits continue to whine. They are the ultimate hypocrites. They have no compassion for immigrants and many support Trump’s separation of children and their parents. The idea was the “brainchild” of Trump, Steven Miller, and Jeff Sessions who are devoted white supremacists.

Their illegitimate leader constantly attacks everyone who offers even minor criticism. “Civility” is not in his dictionary. Trump is crude, immoral, and unfit for the presidency.

However, for Pirro, Hannity, and others, making one of Trump’s fascists uncomfortable is a sin. I have news for them; the entire Republican Party of today lacks compassion and concern for any of our nation’s citizens who are not wealthy. Hurting someone’s feelings is more upsetting than an 800 percent rise in hate crimes since Trump’s nomination. Forcing someone to accept responsibility for their actions is more of a crime than refusing to protect our school children from gun violence. Telling someone the truth is outrageous but refusing to ensure that women are treated equally in America is acceptable. Men and women who harm our nation’s people every day are exempt from criticism, but the richest nation in the world allowing 46 million Americans to struggle below the poverty line is normal.

There has been a change in the dictionary; “Republican” is now a synonym for “Hypocrite.”

One last thing; Ms. Waters became the new leader of the Democratic Party. After her suggestion, a woman holding her baby accosted Scott Pruitt in a restaurant. A couple of days later, he resigned. Victory for the American people.

Please tell others about my blog; thank you.
