It is no secret that many of Trump’s staff disagree with his view of our nation and our national security. Few have displayed the courage to stand up to the bully in the White House. Those who have returned to the private sector and are remaining silent about Trump and his despotic and erratic behavior will likely remain silent for fear of reprisal by their former mentally challenged boss.

Something which happened this weekend, while Trump was receiving angry protests from hundreds of thousands of British citizens, may be a break in the pattern, and reveals the extent of Trump’s lies.

The Director of the Department of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, made statements in direct opposition to Trump’s constant defense of Vladimir Putin. Today she confirmed that our security agencies continue to monitor Russia’s efforts to control our election process and said the U.S. intelligence community does “consistently observe malicious cyber activity from various actors against US election infrastructure,” according to prepared remarks released by her department.

“There is little doubt that adversaries and non-state actors continue to view elections as a target for cyber and influence operations,” Nielsen told the state officials, who are responsible for administering elections.

One last truth and it cannot be denied by any American who respects facts. Trump colluded with Putin during the 2016 election and before. Trump could not have won the Electoral College without outside assistance. The polls were not entirely accurate, but they were closer to the truth than the results revealed. Trump would not be our nation’s illegitimate president today without Putin’s efforts to alter the perception of Hillary Clinton.

The sad truth is that she was a devoted public servant for 35 years. Trump has been an opportunist and a criminal for all of his life; never sacrificing one thing for his nation or any other human on earth. His only ambition as our illegitimate president is to increase his personal wealth. Meanwhile, he has gifted Vladimir Putin the United States of America.

Nostradamus offered a forecast about the United States of America in one of his “quatrains.” He predicted that a President of the United States would be hung on the White House lawn. I would watch that reality show.
