Trump made a big, big mistake in Helsinki. After he and his handler, Vladimir Putin, came out from their secret meetings and stood before the press, Trump declared his belief that Putin was telling the truth when he claimed that Russia was not involved in altering our election. Trump was telling the truth when he admitted that he agreed with his puppeteer.

27 hours later Trump attempted to change his story. I must say, ‘Donny Boy, when you lie 24-hours-a-day, and slip up once to tell the truth, you can’t take back what you said. This moment will forever be known as the ‘Debacle in Helsinki.’

“There’s seems to be no rational explanation for President Trump’s behaviors, and so millions of Americans are left wondering if Putin indeed has something over the president,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Tuesday, in a typical comment.

One Republican is making a futile attempt to make Trump appear intelligent, and hide the fact that he is mentally incompetent, and possibly senile.

“The president just looked right back at [Putin] and with the same straight face… basically sent a message: ’If you can sit here and tell me that with a straight face and that’s what it takes it to move forward in other negotiations, I most certainly can match you on this, and in fact I can stand here and say, ‘Of course you didn’t do it,’ even though we all know that [you did],’” Sen. Mike Rounds of South Dakota told reporters at the Capitol on Tuesday.

“The reality is,” Rounds continued, expounding on his theory of Trump as a fourth-dimensional chess master, “‘I know you did it, you know you did it, and you know that I know that you did it.’ So to me, Mr. Putin tried to tell the whopper with a straight face and President Trump basically laid out, ‘You wanna play that game? Fine. I can do the same thing because we all know you did.’”

Trump cannot speak in coherent sentences and therefore we know that he lacks any ability to organize complicated thought.

A last thought; why was Trump allowed to meet in privacy with Putin? The fact that Trump and Putin colluded during the 2016 election would normally result in his party surrounding him and demanding that he either not meet with Putin or have the Secretary of State and others present. Fully aware that Trump knows nothing about anything, what could the two men have talked about for more than two hours? Only one reason makes sense; Trump was receiving his orders for the remainder of the year. The puppet was informed about which strings Putin would pull during the 2018 election.
