During a joint press conference in Helsinki, Trump proved that he is stupid; a word he has used to describe hundreds of his critics for three years. Trump couldn’t pass a fifth-grade equivalency exam. He claims to be strong on issues important to his supporters and the most intelligent person in the world. He and only he can solve the world’s problems. Really?

Let’s offer some facts right now. Trump is weak on crime; weak on national defense; weak on international relations; and weak on border control. Let’s put each of my statements into perspective.

Trump has pardoned multiple men who have committed despicable crimes against humanity and the United States. His idiotic efforts began with former Maricopa Country Sheriff Joe Arpaio who committed multiple acts of racism which resulted in violence including death. He pardoned Scooter Libby who ‘outed’ an undercover agent of the CIA. Also pardoned were Dwight and Steven Hammond who set fires intended to murder Bureau of Land Management officials. Trump has no concern for the law unless it affects white supremacists.

Trump has no interest in national defense. Fact: spending money on weapons of fantasy while wasting billions of dollars each year is moronic. Protecting our nation’s cyber security is the most important duty of our nation’s security agencies and the president, but Trump denies any intervention by Vladimir Putin. This is the greatest danger to our nation’s future since the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Trump has virtually destroyed not only our relations with our closest allies, but also trade agreements which were critical to the efforts of President Obama to complete our recovery from the great recession created by another Republican president.

Focusing on illegal immigration is another idiotic decision by Trump. Not only are Russians invading our borders electronically, he is allowing agents from known terrorist countries to have free access to our nation, including Saudi Arabia where 15 of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 were nationalists. Also of equal importance is the rejection of immigrants who are desperately needed in our economic sector. The fact is that 6.7 million jobs remain unfilled because there are no candidates capable of performing those jobs. Not only a refusal to allow critical immigrants work visas have become moronic, our government’s reluctance to consider education as the most important asset for our nation’s future is a death wish for the future of America.

An American President has only two functions. He or she must “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” and he or she must find ways to move our nation forward and concentrate on efforts to improve the lives of all Americans. Trump has done neither.

Republicans, now the ‘Trump Party,’ have violated the trust of the American people and must be removed from Washington in November.
