Supreme Court Aids GOP’s Desperate Efforts to Win Elections

SCOTUS (2)

It’s a fact that a large voter turnout is indicative of a Democratic victory. Republicans, desperate to suppress the vote, and aided by a Republican dominated Supreme Court, have begun efforts to repeal the Constitutional rights of millions of Americans by removing them from the registry of voters.

After a Supreme Court decision in 2013, more than four million voters saw their voting rights removed between 2014 and 2016. This is continuing today; primarily in red states who have governors who are members of the Trump Party.

If you don’t consider this important, grow-up and learn something. Trump was “hugely” defeated in the popular vote. His gift from the Electoral College was the result of victories in three states; Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Trump received the electoral votes of these states by a total of less than 80,000 votes; the slimmest of margins.

Finally, a fact which offers irrefutable truth that the Electoral College is another desperate effort by Republicans to win presidential elections.

Bill Clinton won the popular vote in 1992 and 1996. In 2000 Al Gore won the popular vote. However, by denying a recount in Florida, the Supreme Court named George W. Bush our nation’s 43rd president. Equally important is the fact that Bush would not have waged a reelection campaign in 2004 if the popular vote elected our president as our founding fathers decreed.

President Obama won the popular vote in 2008 and 2012. In 2016 Hillary Clinton defeated Trump by nearly three-million votes, but with help from Vladimir Putin and the existence of the Electoral College Trump stole the presidency.

The truth is that if the popular vote decided the presidency, our nation would have had a Democratic president for THE LAST 26 YEARS! Think about how different our world would be today.

If you don’t believe that every vote is important, re-read this article. Please vote on November 6th; you count.

Finally think about this; If just a few million more voters had gone to the polls in three states Trump would not be soiling the White House sheets today.

Please tell others about my blog; the truth lives here.
