Monday morning and Trump has already threatened Iran with ‘total destruction;’ denounced the #MeToo movement; expressed his frustration with the lack of progress on North Korea; returned to calling the Russian investigation “a hoax;” and witnessed another failure by Jared Kushner in the Middle East.
Trump tweeted his threat to President Rouhani of Iran after insinuating that our nation’s military power could destroy his nation.
“WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH.”
This was after Rouhani had responded to Trump’s threats and warned him that “war with Iran is the mother of all wars.”
Trump denied the validity of the #MeToo movement by supporting Jim Jordan’s denial that he was aware of sexual assault by a team doctor at Ohio State University, although more than 20 members of the wrestling team confirmed the facts. He continued his support for Bill Shine, the fired FOX Noise exec who was Roger Ailes ‘enabler.’ Shine is now a member of Trump’s staff. Sexual predators stick together.
In private Trump once again proves that he lacks the understanding about how real diplomacy works and reveals that his book “The Art of the Deal” was another fraud; a bad joke. He is angry that progress is slow with North Korea, while once again ignoring security agency reports that Kim Jong-un played Trump and is actually growing his nuclear program.
Although his aides convinced him that he must acknowledge the fact that Putin interfered in our election to save his presidency, he has reversed his position once again and calls the whole thing “a hoax.” This, as members of his own party continue to question the wisdom of inviting Putin to the White House.
Meanwhile, Jared Kushner is admitting failure in the Middle East, (as I predicted), and is threatening to end “plan ‘B’” whatever that might have been.
I demand that the Trump Party make a decision to renege their support for Trump and return to their Republican roots. Trump is mentally unhinged and unfit to lead our country. His path is a path of destruction.
As of today, the cowards and hypocrites on the right are willing to allow the destruction of every principle treasured by the United States of America and surrender our nation to the Trump/Putin coalition.
Trump was a choice; a choice by millions of Americans who continue to choose ignorance over reality. This mistake has already cost our nation’s people dearly, and the longer this immoral and mentally challenged man is allowed to be in control, he and his failed party will be responsible for even more irreversible damage to our nation’s future.
Time for Trump to get the hell out of Washington.
