Yes, Putin helped Trump win the Electoral College. Yes, Comey hurt Hillary’s campaign just 11 days before the election. Yes, Hillary should have spent more time campaigning in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. But the truth is the mainstream media elected Donald Trump.

No other candidate would have been given a free pass and held to such a low standard if it was not Donald Trump. Only a couple of decades in the past any candidate who had been divorced would be rejected by voters. Trump admitted on tape that he is a sexual predator. 20 women have accused Trump of sexual assault. He has committed crimes including bribery and theft from his own charity. He is a confirmed white supremacist and an Islamophobe. And yet he received five-times more media coverage than all other candidates combined.

Let’s be honest here; the media elected the least qualified man in history who is completely immoral, a white supremacist, a fascist, a sexual predator, a xenophobe, an Islamophobe, and a homophobe. It is because of a failed mainstream media that one man and his hypocritical and cowardly party is causing irreversible damage to our nation’s future. Charlie Rose, Nora O’Donnell, George Stephanopoulos, and others who failed to focus on Trump’s many negative qualities that Trump is soiling the sheets in the White House. He was given a free pass and held to the lowest standard possible. Hillary was held to an impossibly high standard. Was this because she was a woman and the most qualified candidate in history?

The truth is that the American people were conned by Trump, Putin, and a media eager for sensationalism which gave them ratings and advertising dollars.

On November 9, 2016 I vowed never to watch television news again. I have kept that promise. I can accept a lot of things but lying through misdirection and omission is unforgivable.
