In many ways Mike Pence is worse than Donald Trump. His fake religious beliefs and his rejection of the 14th amendment are equally destructive to the Constitution and an attack on both women and the LGBTQ community. Pence’s extremist views are opposed to the beliefs of most Americans; he is a disgrace to his party and his country.
Pence’s misogynistic beliefs are designed to ensure that women remain subservient to men and have no rights other than those which are decided by men in our nation’s government.
Before Trump left Indiana to serve his master as the vice-president, he signed an anti-abortion law which would remove all rights from women to decide the physical and mental health of their own bodies and minds.
“The Indiana law — which prohibited abortion because of the gender, race or disability of the fetus, such as Down syndrome — was blocked by lower courts and is one of three significant anti-abortion state statutes that are sitting one level below the Supreme Court. If Indiana appeals this fall, and the justices accept the case, it could be the opening for a broader ruling on Roe v. Wade that could redefine abortion rights nationwide. […]”
Although this appears to be a danger to women’s rights, it is another tool for women to take their rightful place in America. Women compose 50.9 percent of our nation’s population. They must take control of our nation which has been destroyed by old, white men for decades. It’s time for our government to represent all Americans.
The subject is not only women. The truth is that the average age of all Americans is 37.8 years-of-age. The average age in congress is 60-years-of-age. This demands change.
Few Americans are aware that to become a member of the House a candidate must be a citizen and 25 years old. A Senator must be a citizen and 30 years of age. The President of the United States must be 35 years of age, a natural born citizen and a resident of the United States for 14 consecutive years.
Do you qualify for any or all of these categories? If the answer is ‘yes,’ consider running for office. You can make a difference.
Trump and Pence represent our nation’s past. Our country is becoming more diverse with every year. My generation is dying and will be non-existent within two decades. If the America of our founding fathers is to continue younger and real patriots must take control of our nation.
