The working class has many enemies. Let’s begin with the obvious. Every right-wing politician is waging a war against the majority of the American people. They vote on issues facing the American people not on how they will affect the working class, but how the super-rich will protect their outrageous profits. The truth is that campaign contributions by 540 billionaires and 10.8 million millionaires are more important than the United States of America.

Now for the real villains. All of the mainstream media ignores the truth. Advertising takes precedence over doing the right thing. The greatest enemy of the working class is the television media. Your average television fake-journalist makes nearly 20 million dollars per year. If they offend advertisers, their income is in jeopardy.

Fact: During the 2016 election campaign Trump received five-times more television coverage than all other candidates combined. Why? Sensationalism invited more advertising dollars than the truth. Trump was held to the lowest moral standard in history and television news executives decided that this was acceptable because profits were growing thanks to the most outrageous and most immoral man in history.

More facts. We know that Russian President Vladimir Putin altered the results of our election. James Comey harmed the Clinton campaign just 11 days prior to the election. However, the television media caused far more damage than all other efforts by anti-Democratic groups.

ABC, NBC, CBS and others focused on Hillary’s private e-mails far more frequently than Trump’s admissions of racism and sexual deviance. Why? Profits for their corporations.

America is controlled by profit; it is no longer concerned with the Constitution or what is right or wrong. Television decides our elections and the direction of our nation’s future. Profit before people has become the norm and the controlling factor in America.

A television fake-journalist’s average income is over 15 million dollars each year. Why are they worthy of this ridiculous amount of income? They do what advertisers want them to do.

Capitalism has failed the vast majority of the American people and we are losing or freedoms and are witnessing the end of the American dream.

“Capitalism does not permit an even flow of economic resources. With this system, a small privileged few are rich beyond conscience, and almost all others are doomed to be poor at some level. That’s the way the system works. And since we know that the system will not change the rules, we are going to have to change the system.” Martin Luther King Jr.

Okay; you’re probably calling me a communist or something worse by now. You are partially correct. When I learned that 46 million Americans are living below the poverty line, and when Americans living in the low-income level are added to those unforgivable numbers, one-half of Americans do not share in the benefits of living in the United States, I was outraged. If you are very rich, you are free. If not, most struggle to survive in the wealthiest nation in the world.

Finally, with the changes in our nation and the world, I believe that Democratic Socialism is the only policy which will save our nation. Bernie Sanders and the very young and progressive future Representative from the Bronx; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez; will lead our nation into the 21^st century. An extreme income inequality will end our nation.

Your choice; join the second American Revolution or accept a plutocracy supported by fascism.
