The hearings in the Senate yesterday proved to be another embarrassment for the Republican Party. They once again displayed that their war on women is escalating. Because Professor Ford appeared entirely believable and Judge Kavanaugh displayed arrogance and was completely unbelievable, the senate should not confirm this man for a lifetime appointment to the Court.
For as long as I can remember the old, white men in the senate from the right side of the aisle have discounted the intellect, competency, and the veracity of women. They have consistently refused to vote in favor of legislation which would positively affect every woman in America and place white men ahead of both women and our nation.
Sadly, I have a prediction.
The entire Republican Party, with the exception of the recently departed John McCain, has served their master and not the voters who elected them. These hypocrites, including Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski will confirm Trump’s tool to the Court.
This single act will influence tens-of-millions of Americans to rush to the polls on November 6th and vote the failures on the right-wing out of office.
America will be saved from one entire party which has chosen to rule over us and not serve our needs and wishes.
