For Republicans the Senate Race in Texas should have Them Shaking in their Wing Tips

O'rourke

The “most hated man in the senate” is Ted Cruz. Cruz is also in jeopardy of losing his bid for reelection in November. Cruz’ failures to address the needs of the people of Texas, and his record of personal failures have given the good people of Texas doubts about his competency and personal ambitions.

His Democratic opponent is Beto O’Rourke. O’Rourke has been attending meetings all over Texas talking about the issues and what he would do for them. And they are listening.

The polls have been too close to call at times. At present Cruz has a small lead, but leaders in the Republican Party are frightened. They don’t care about losing Cruz, but they do care about losing the majority in the senate.

The truth. If O’ Rourke wins a message will be sent to every hypocrite in the Republican Party. Trump is unacceptable for most Americans and supporting him is political suicide.

Personally, I have been extremely disappointed by many members of this Republican Party in name only. With the exception of the recently departed John McCain not a single member from the right side of the aisle has displayed support for the American people. The all continue to kiss Trump’s humongous derriere.

Sad; so sad.
