Republicans: Why is Kavanaugh’s Situation Different from Bill Cosby’s?

dv

America was shocked when Bill Cosby was accused of sexual assault by multiple women. Although these crimes occurred decades ago, the American people took them seriously, including Republican politicians.

Enter the Republican Party and their illegitimate president, Donald Trump. Everything they previously condemned is acceptable now; it’s all about the Party.

Brett Kavanaugh has been accused by three women of sexually assaulting them. Yesterday Christine Blasey Ford, a woman who accused him of attempted rape during their high school years, and Kavanaugh were questions before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Lindsey Graham, Republican Senator from South Carolina led the attack, claiming that ‘something that happened 36 years ago was impossible to prove and probably never happened.

The history between Republicans and women is not filled with acts of courage and resolve. These predominately old, white men believe the men in every instance and discount the life altering affects of sexual assault. To claim the GOP politicians lack compassion is understating the facts.

Republicans have two gods, and two gods only, although they claim to be Christians. Their entire goal in life is money, and to achieve this their second ambition is to protect their party and their pitiful and failed careers.

Kavanaugh is another Donald Trump, and every other Republican who has been accused of sexual assault and sexual harassment. The list is long, but loyal Republican voters accept philandering and sexual deviance unless it is committed by a liberal.

Time for change; time to allow the Republican Party to implode. It exists in name only today. Please vote on November 6th.
