During the 2016 campaign Trump claimed to be smart; a lie. He claimed that he would create change in Washington; the truth, but not the type of change needed by most Americans. He promised to drain the swamp; another lie; he added a huge cesspool. He said he would replace Obamacare with better and cheaper healthcare for all; he lied. He told his ignorant supporters that every American would receive a permanent tax break; another lie. Only the rich and large corporations benefit from his “tax reform” bill. Trump promised to create jobs; lie. Our nation has lost jobs since he became your illegitimate president. He told his “basket of deplorables” that he was a successful businessman; he lied.

The truth you will never hear is that Trump us using the national treasury for his own benefit and has violated the emoluments clause by attempting to increase his foreign business interests. He is apparently failing at that effort as well.

One of the greatest examples of Trump’s failures is his signature real estate venture; the Trump Tower in New York City. Built in 1983, the first six floors of Trump’s edifice intended to satisfy his enormous ego were occupied by high-end American companies. Shops including Cartier and Harry Winston were adorned by pianists and waterfalls.

“We got the highest rents ever, anywhere,” says former Trump Organization executive Barbara Res, standing in the pink atrium four decades after she helped build it.

More than three years ago businesses began closing their stores. Although this originated before Trump declared his political intentions, it has increased since he received his gift from the Electoral College.

Just to name two, Nike and Ivanka’s own shop have closed. Left are Gucci, Starbucks, and bars and restaurants with Trump’s name on them; most of these businesses have received multiple notices of violations by the health department. His profits are down by 27 percent.

Is it coincidental that this all began in 2014, before Trump declared his candidacy in June of 2015? His entire plan is to use his position to increase his personal wealth and the wealth of other billionaires and millionaires who remain members of his cabinet and his closest advisers.

Trump is a fraud, a failure and a fool. He may fool Americans who watch the right-wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise, and broadcast television “news” shows which have protected trump for more than three years, but he cannot fool me or thousands of other Americans who love their country and seek the truth.

He must be stopped. Republicans will not save our nation from their fascist leader; they support him without reservation. If his party is removed from power Trump will be reduced to a whimpering spoiled child. Please vote on November 6^th. With our vote we can save the United States of America. Independents and Democrats must be elected to serve the American people and not rule over us.
