“America First” stands for extreme nationalism and a belief in isolationism. It has not worked in the past 242 years and will not be successful today.

Old men in Washington, including Trump, Wilbur Ross, Mitch McConnell, and others, live in America’s dark past. They believe in racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and other evils which once threatened to destroy our democracy. Their arrogance and ignorance remove the ability to understand that not only is America not a great nation, we rely on our allies and to some extent our adversaries to succeed in the 21^st century.

Post WWII the world became ‘one nation.’ We are all reliant on each other. Trump’s attitude is another destructive failure. His policies are based on a lack of experience, personal greed, and ego, not on reality. In the 1930’s Adolf Hitler preached a philosophy of extreme nationalism. His country was eventually destroyed by a coalition of nations which fought for human rights and freedom.

Until November 8, 2016, the United States was moving forward with the developed nations of the world. Alliances were made to guarantee the success of all countries. The United Nations was becoming what it was intended to be. There was hope for world peace, and the people became the focal point for all nations.

Trump has returned America to its dark past. In the early 1900’s big business dominated our nation. Workers were used as slave labor and government bowed to the one-percent of wealthiest Americans; this is Trump’s goal today.

Every proposal by Trump’s circle of sinners is intended to increase the wealth of the one-percent. He does not represent all Americans. The treasury of the United States has become his personal bank. Donald Trump is living the same life he enjoyed before January 20, 2017 but is now using your tax dollars to pay for it.

Who is to blame for this travesty? The entire Republican Party. These failed politicians are in control of congress and refuse to serve voters who elected them. They continue to bow to Trump’s fascist plans for America. For the last 30 years the GOP has waged a war against the majority. As Trump continues to increase his plans for our nation’s isolationist policies, preaching national pride to his ignorant supporters, America’s place on the world stage is declining. Our working class is beginning to experience the negative effects of Trump’s rash and foolish policies. The very people who supported him in 2016 will suffer the most.

Please vote on November 6^th. Republicans must be removed from power. They have proven for decades that they cannot and have chosen not to govern our nation effectively. History reveals that when Republicans control our government the majority suffers, while the wealthy flourish.

Our votes can save America.
