Kirstjen Nielsen is the current Director of Homeland Security. Remember her name; the next time you read it she will have been “asked to resign.” Another on a long and growing list of Trump’s former White House staff.
On Wednesday the Department of Homeland Security issued a press release. It was meant to praise Trump’s ludicrous idea of a 30-foot wall on our southern border. Instead, all that anyone noticed was its nonsensical wording, its many spelling errors, and its poor use of grammar. It appeared to have been written by an illiterate individual.
“DHS is committed to building wall and building wall quickly,” it began. “We are not replacing short, outdated and ineffective wall with similar wall. Instead, under this President we are building a wall that is 30-feet high.”
Are there a bunch of third graders running Homeland Security? The entire document was signed off by Trump’s administration and “reportedly contained repeatedly dropped articles, misused punctuation, was littered with redundancies and contained strong, partisan messaging.”
We know that Trump didn’t read the press release. He either refuses to read or doesn’t know how. However, reporters who read the entire document claimed that it could have been written by this illiterate and illegitimate president.
The press release, titled “Walls Work,” is posted on the official DHS website and uses particularly partisan language, which is unusual for the agency.
“On Sunday when a violent mob of 1,000 people stormed our Southern border, we found the newly constructed portions of the wall to be very effective,” DHS wrote. The old wall, they said, was not as effective and migrants were able to get across to the U.S.
I am more convinced than ever that Trump and his circle of sinners are time travelers from the 16th century. They actually believe that walls and moats will protect us from our “enemies.” Someone should tell them that this is the 21st century.
The entire Trump administration has proven itself incompetent and they are “led” by the most unfit man in history to claim the title of President of the United States.
