For decades the Republican Party has revealed that it is racist, bigoted, and sexist. For more than three decades it has failed to represent and serve the majority of Americans. Suppressing the minority vote, supporting the unconstitutional Christian religious right, and refusing to recognize the right of women to make decisions about their own bodies have offered undeniable proof that they are unwilling to perform the job for which they were elected.

One fact is true; there are no true Republicans remaining in the once Grand Old Party today. When John McCain lost his life, he took with him the right to be labeled “Republican.” Before Trump was allowed to infest the White House, I believed that several other right-wing politicians would protect the principles and ideals of past Republicans. This is no longer a reality.

John McCain and Lindsey Graham were reportedly close friends. After Senator McCain passed, Graham began to reveal his true self. He is a hypocrite who now supports Trump’s vile agenda. More importantly he has proven himself to be without morals. He believes that the facts about Trump’s sexual indiscretions are acceptable and normal.

Trump is a confirmed sexual predator, and a deviant. More than 20 women have accused him of sexual assault and he had at least two affairs immediately after his son was born. Graham believes that this is acceptable behavior. On FOX Noise he also admitted that Trump lies frequently, but that is also acceptable. Graham says that because Trump is always under attack from real Americans, he is forced to defend himself.

“[Trump] is always under siege. He is saying this one minute and that the next. It’s what he does that matters,” the Republican from South Carolina responded.

Graham is now revealing the truth; his party takes precedence over our nation and our people. He is a disgrace. Past Republicans would shun him completely.

Graham offers additional proof that all Republicans in name only must be removed from Washington. We must elect younger men and women who will serve the American people and not rule over them.

For more than three decades the right-wing has failed to support the needs and wishes of the majority. Our “democratic republic” no longer exists; time for real change.

November 3, 2020 can become the most important date in America’s modern history. This is our country, not theirs.
