After the Republican congress wasted more taxpayer time and money questioning former FBI Director James Comey for five hours on Monday, Mr. Comey had a few things to say.

“This is the president of the United States calling a witness who is cooperating with his own Justice Department a ‘rat.’ Say that again to yourself at home and remind yourself where we have ended up,” Comey said, referring to a tweet from the president calling his former personal attorney Michael Cohen a “rat.”

“Republicans used to understand that the actions of a president matter, the words of a president matter, the rule of law matters and the truth matters,” Comey said, taking a more political tone Monday afternoon than he did last Friday following his first round of testimony in front of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees. “Where are those Republicans today? At some point, someone has to stand up.”

On January 20, 2017 all Republicans volunteered for castration. They surrendered their morals, their principles, and their dignity and offered their support to a man unworthy of receiving the title of President of the United States.

Every Republican politician turned their backs on the American people, renounced the Constitution, and made a decision to place their party in priority number one while ignoring the future of our nation.

The number of investigations currently being conducted about Trump’s past and present actions outnumber my fingers and toes. He has displayed disrespect for the law throughout his pitiful life. It doesn’t apply to him.

Finally, Comey is not a man I admire, but he is not wrong about Trump and his hypocritical party. They are traitors to our nation and must be removed from office.
