Next to Go; “Mad Dog Mattis:” and the List Grows and Grows

Mattis

Secretary of Defense James “Mad Dog” Mattis will retire by the end of February. I’m not surprised. His position was similar to John Kelly’s; unnecessary and unwanted. Trump refused to listen to either of “his generals.” He told the members of his cult during the 2016 campaign that “he knew more than the generals.”

Mattis was surely one of the men who opposed bringing our troops home from Syria. This was the final blow. The two men have disagreed on policy for two years.

Trump tweeted the news, he knows no other way.

“General Jim Mattis will be retiring, with distinction, at the end of February, after having served my Administration as Secretary of Defense for the past two years,” he said.

More than 50 percent of Trump’s high-level advisers have resigned or been fired from their positions. Reports from inside the White house claim that for the last 23 months the West Wing has been chaotic and describe Trump as a madman who loses his temper frequently and refuses to listen to anyone other than his ‘Klan.’

Don’t be surprised if he nominates Jared Kushner, Steve Mnuchin, or even Sarah Palin to replace Mattis. He really doesn’t need a cabinet or high-level advisers. He knows everything.
