In 2016 rural Americans supported the wrong candidate. Farmers overwhelmingly voted for the orange man. Today they are paying the biggest price for their mistake.

Trump’s ill-advised tariffs have caused enormous financial harm to the American worker. Instead of closing the gap in the trade deficit, it has increased by seven-percent.

Suffering the most are soy bean farmers. The bulk of their crops were sold to China. Because of Trump’s folly, the tariff, they could not be sold for a profit this year and many were forced to plow them back into the ground as they began to rot.

Today they are experiencing additional harm from what will always be called the “Trump Shutdown.”

You may remember that Trump attempted to cover his own humongous a** by passing a bill offering $12 billion in aid to farmers. Because the government is shutdown, the Department of Agriculture, which is responsible for those payments, will cease doing so next week.

Trump is a man incapable of learning and makes decisions hastily and without consulting the experts in any situation. He fails to take into consideration the side effects of his unwise actions; actions which were opposed by his closest advisers.

I have three brothers-in-law who live in Georgia. Like other good old white boys in the south they get all of their information from FOX Noise. The majority of FOX’ lies are in the form of ‘omission.’ The fail to tell the whole story.

Three men I care about have no knowledge about the harm caused by ‘Trump’s folly.’ FOX doesn’t tell them. On of them is very angry at General Motors for shutting down plants in America, laying off workers, and planning to move those plants to Mexico. FOX never reported the statement by GM’s CEO that the entire reason for their actions is based on the tariff which makes it far less profitable to produce their vehicles in America.

FOX has never exposed Trump once for his lack of morals, his mental incompetence, or his extremely poor decisions.

We have been suffering from president dumbass for 23 months and 9 days; that’s 23 months and 9 days too long.
