Trump had a Very Bad 2018; here are a Few of the Lowlights

Trump unpopular

Thanks to the failings of Trump and his hypocritical party, the American people had a bad year in 2018. However, Trump’s may have been worse. If he had any common sense, a modicum of morality, or a small amount of compassion for his fellow man, he would be very ashamed, resign, and return to his golden tower which likely smells like a fat, old man.

His top five biggest losses and failures are listed in the order I believe most important from 5th to 1st.

#5: Trump’s felonies and his association with multiple other felons.

No president in history has been under investigation as many times as Trump. He is currently under 17 examinations into his personal and private life. Many of his closest associates have been indicted and/or convicted of felonies. Another first for Donny Boy.

#4: The debacle in Helsinki.

Trump embarrassed himself and our nation as he virtually ignored our allies and curtsied to Putin at the summit in Helsinki. He continues to prove to all Americans that his relationship with Putin began decades in the past, and that they share goals and ambitions which can only be termed as “unholy.”

#3: The 2018 Midterms.

Trump openly supported white supremacist candidates during the midterm elections. The result was a ‘pink wave’ in the House. In several governorships Trump’s support proved to be a ‘poison pill.’ Before the election, he claimed that the result of the vote would be directed at him; for once he was correct.

#2: Trump’s attempts to cover-up the torture and dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi.

In 1995 Trump’s business empire was near bankruptcy. Thanks to investments by the Saudi Royal Family, he survived hundreds of poor choices. It was no surprise when irrefutable evidence came forth that the Saudi Crown Prince himself, Mohammed bin Salman, ordered the torture and dismemberment of dissident and Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, Trump attempted to cover the murder with lies and misdirection. Another act of treason by your illegitimate president.

#1: Separating Hispanic families on our southern border.

This is the most inhumane act by an American president in history. In fact, this is the most anti-American act by any man in America. We are much better than this. Trump admitted that he made this decision to discourage future Hispanics from seeking asylum in the United States.

Not all of the families have been reunited today, and some many never see each other again. In addition, his personal gestapo, ICE, is poorly trained and this resulted in the deaths of one small boy and one small girl.

I believe one more should be added; his implementation of tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico, Europe, and China. Although he was advised not to do so, he made a unilateral decision which has harmed large and small businesses across America. Many soybean farmers were forced to plow their rotting crops back into the ground. General Motors has announced layoffs and their intention to move plants to Mexico because of the tariffs, forcing a rise in the cost of steel and other materials.

If all of Trump’s failures were listed, they would fill pages. He is the most unqualified man to ever wear the label of President of the United States.

His party continues to support him. On November 3, 2020 we can take our country back; it belongs to us, not to them.
