The most recent polls reveal that over 70 percent of all Americans would prefer universal healthcare in the form of ‘Medicare for All’ as the best available solution to one of America’s most critical problems. The right-wing calls this “socialism” and rejects the idea; once again opposing the needs and wishes of most Americans. Let them know that their only job is to find a way to accomplish the demands of the majority

Fact; “Every other advanced country in the world—including Canada, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and all of Europe—already has a comprehensive health care plan provided by the government for an average of less than half the cost of our privately funded system.”

Another fact: our current healthcare “system” is the most costly in the world and the expense prevents millions of Americans from seeking medical care. Thousands of families have been forced to declare bankruptcy after experiencing a catastrophe related to an accident or serious medical condition.

Republicans claim that funding is not available for such a plan, but here’s the truth. Millions of dollars would be saved each year. Congress always finds funding for the military, which wastes 50 cents of every dollar. Republicans would find $30 billion to complete Trump’s folly, also called a “wall,” if Democrats would agree. When it comes to programs affecting most Americans, Republicans reject every proposal.

Most importantly, Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, supports Medicare for all. When she is the 46^th president and has control of the House and Senate, the American people will have the healthcare they need. This is not a Constitutional right; it is a human right.
