The White House claims that Trump’s ‘State of the Union’ speech on Tuesday will be about ‘unity.’ Do you believe this will actually happen? For two years every time Trump speaks it’s all about him; not about our country or the American people. His boring rhetoric is filled with braggadocio and therefore lies. He attacks the press, Democrats, and any individual who disagrees with the orange man.

Trump has a single priority, and it’s not the United States, the people of our nation, healthcare, education, our crumbling infrastructure, immigration reform, growing domestic terrorism, or any other issue important to the American people; it’s his “wall.” This is what we will hear about for the majority of his attempt to speak clearly to the American people.

Women will be facing him in the front row, and Nancy Pelosi will be over his shoulder. They will not be there to soothe his ego. They will be there in support of the #MeToo movement. Trump is a sexual predator who has been accused by 20 women of sexual assault. Democratic guests will be government workers Trump ignored for 35 days, DACA recipients, Muslim-Americans, and other Americans who have been victims of Trump’s hateful verbal attacks.

The right side of the aisle will applaud his hollow words, while the left will sit quietly and represent all real Americans. As his approval rating falls towards the 20’s Democrats will remind him that he is a failure. They will have one question: “did one of Vladimir Putin’s agents write his speech, or simply approve it?” I will be watching Amazon Prime or Netflix.

Trump is not an American president.
