Host Margaret Brennan’s first question out of the gate was “Would you shut down the government again?” His reply, “We’re going to have to see what happens on February 15th … I don’t take anything off the table. I don’t like to take things off the table.” It’ll totally work this time, he says, because “on the 15th we have now set the table beautifully because everybody knows what’s going on because of the shutdown.”

Trump said the former appearing on CBS’ ‘Face the Nation’ yesterday. Trump’s ego has become America’s problem.

Before Trump’s illegitimate presidency, the Republican Party was crumbling. If Trump shuts down the government again, it will virtually become non-existent. For GOP politicians the 2020 election is lost.

Our elected officials, and Trump, have a single job; to keep our government running efficiently. If they can’t do that why are they in Washington? Republicans refuse to place the American people first. Their loyalty to Fuhrer Trump will cost them dearly and they deserve the worst.

For each of the 35 days of the Trump Shutdown the number of Americans who disapproved of Republican’s failure to do their job increased. A second shutdown would see poll numbers once believed impossible.
