“The truth will set you free.” There is nothing more important than the truth. Facts will never harm the righteous, but for criminals, and corrupt politicians they are their greatest enemy. Honest and good men and women welcome the truth and gladly reveal information about themselves and their lives without fear.

Therefore, Trump’s refusal to reveal his tax returns to the American people, something every president has done since Richard Nixon until now, is proof that he has much to hide. Where does his money originate? Does it come from Russian oligarchs, or from businesses he has “made deals” with during his presidency in violation of the Emoluments Clause? Is he guilty of tax fraud? How much money does he actually have? Who else besides Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal has he paid off to hide facts which would force him out of office? If he has not committed crimes and immoral acts, why is he afraid to offer proof that he is innocent?

Acting Chief of Staff, Mick Mulvaney said on Sunday that congress will never see Trump’s tax returns

“Nor should they (obtain the documents)” Mulvaney told “Fox News Sunday.” “Keep in mind, that’s an issue that was already litigated during the election. Voters knew the President could have given over his tax returns, they knew that he didn’t and they elected him anyway. Which, of course, is what drives the Democrats crazy.”

Mulvaney was speaking for a minority of Americans. Remember, Trump lost the popular vote by millions of ballots, and those voters did not elect him. The majority of Americans always demanded his tax returns and after more than two years in office more Americans are aware that we have the right to know whether or not our president is a crook or a Russian agent.

Finally, I ask this question; why has the media and his party allowed a change in rules and policies required from all 44 previous presidents? Why has he been allowed to hide his actions and those of his administration from the people? Why has Trump been allowed to waste $3.4 million taxpayer dollars every time he travels to Mar-a-Lago, and over $1.5 million to other golf resorts and “party plantations” he owns? Trump has spent one-half of his time in office at his resorts and playing golf. He continues his pre-election “occupation” of never working a full day in his life. If he’s not golfing, he’s watching television. Trump is the most expensive illegitimate president in American history.
