Trump and his circle of sinners lied once again. (If I had a nickel for every time I wrote those words…). They claimed that the people expressed their lack of concern in 2016, and that the issue was “moot.” This is another case of bullshit from Trump and his paid liars. The truth is that every poll has indicated that the voting public believes it is necessary and critical for Trump to reveal his tax returns.
Richard Nixon was the first president to voluntarily offer his tax returns. He was known to have said, “the people have a right to know if their president is a crook.”
There have been many comparisons between Trump and Nixon. Sadly, the truth is, this is unfair to Nixon. Nixon committed a crime, but his successes as our nation’s 37th president were admirable. His talents as a diplomat were incomparable in his day. He established relations with China in an historic meeting. He was the president who first recognized the need to protect our environment and established the Environmental Protection Agency. Trump has done nothing and is unfit to claim the title of President of the United States. In addition, Trump is guilty of multiple crimes before and after his gift from the Electoral College. Donny boy is a career criminal.
The facts prove that the polls taken in 2016 were very similar to those taken recently. The average is roughly 60-40 percent that Trump must reveal his tax returns.
Questions will remain if he continues to resist transparency. Is he really a billionaire? Where does his money originate? What investments has he made since his elections? Do these investments involve foreign nations, and are they violations of the emolument’s clause? There are many other questions which the American people have a right to know.
The President of the United States is unique in the fact that he or she has no right to privacy. The highest office in the land is of prime importance and the person living in the White House has an obligation to reveal his or herself to the people they are ordered to serve.
44 presidents prior to Trump have adhered to these unwritten rules. Trump must comply or forever be considered a traitor to the American people.
