All Americans should pay close attention to the actions of our federal government; your life literally depends on them. Those of us who do pay close attention try to keep all Americans informed. For example, thousands of writers knew that Trump’s “tax reform” was nothing more than a gift to the one percent; 540 billionaires and 11.1 million millionaires; and corporations. We also knew that the Republican plan would harm working-class Americans.
Monday is April 15th; Tax Day. Millions of Americans have already learned that they will receive smaller refunds. Trump and his party, which serves the wealthy and ignores most Americans, removed many deductions important to the majority. There is now a cap on deductions for state and local taxes; that includes property taxes. In reality, this is a tax increase on the working class for the sole purpose of giving another tax break to the one-percent.
In just over two years Trump moved our nation into a plutocracy. He, his cabinet, his advisers; everyone with whom he associates are millionaires and billionaires. Every law, rule, and executive order has benefitted the wealthy and harmed working class Americans.
Let’s be clear; because a plutocracy works for a very small percentage of a nation’s people, it cannot exist without a fascist government. Trump’s every effort has been focused on the end of the presidency which has existed for 230 years, and place an autocrat in the White House. He seeks the same control over Americans enjoyed by his only friends, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.
Finally, a bit of truth. During the 2016 election Trump’s most crucial supporters; the men who stole the Electoral College; were Robert Mercer, Vladimir Putin, and a number of Russian Oligarchs.
There are two events in American history I will never accept as fact. Although it may have been Lee Harvey Oswald’s bullet that killed JFK, others were involved. The second is the Mueller report. It only takes common sense to know that Trump and Putin planned the results of the 2016 election, and that it began in 2013 in Moscow. Trump became an agent for the Russian government in 1987.
