Reality proves that nothing is factual or relevant without the truth. Admittedly it’s hard to uncover the truth from today’s Trump administration and his cowardly and hypocritical party.
Ken Starr, who was desperate to discover a ‘smoking gun’ during his investigation of President Bill Clinton, believes that the Mueller report should be redacted to protect the criminals involved in our 2016 election.
Ken Starr, the independent counsel who investigated former President Bill Clinton, said Tuesday that “embarrassing information” should be scrubbed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s report before it’s released this week.
“It’s true, there are protocols in place, but I certainly did not want the so-called Starr Report to be released to the public. I had no reason to believe it would be. Our transmittal letter made it clear it was sensitive information, embarrassing information,” Starr said on Fox News’ “Outnumbered Overtime.” “So, there should be a process. As we have seen with Bill Barr, going through the report. Not just putting it out there without regard to privacy. Apart from legality, just privacy and basic human decency.”
“As frustrating as it is, people would want to see more, but the privacy of individuals is important. If they haven’t been charged with a crime, their names shouldn’t be dragged through the mud,” he said.
This is Washington attempting once again to protect its own. Bluntly put, Starr is “full of s**t. The biggest problem with Washington is secrecy which hides the truth from the American people who have a right to know how corrupt and self-serving their elected officials are. “National security” is always a smokescreen designed to protect the guilty.
Any man or woman working in Washington who does not have the welfare of all Americans as their number one priority should be removed. If “embarrassment” is their greatest concern, they are shallow men and women. Choosing to be in public service always results in close scrutiny of both public and private lives. The American people deserve and expect our government to be composed of exceptional men and women who love their country. That is not the situation in our nation’s capital today.
Trump chose the least qualified group of men and women for his closest advisers. They have added to the swamp and created an even larger cesspool. At no time in our nation’s history has a president and his circle of sinners wasted such a large amount of taxpayer dollars for their own pleasure. Never has any administration been exposed for its singular goal to advance their personal fortunes as the one harming our nation’s future today.
If Trump had been a Democrat the fake conservatives in Washington would be screaming. However, the right-wing has a double standard. Trump is unquestionably the worst illegitimate president in history and Republicans are fully aware of this fact. They don’t care. Serving their party and accomplishing their personal ambitions are their only priorities.
